i went to the Birmingham zoo yesterday with my daughter and noticed they house cottenmouths with pine snakes and bearded dragoons with blus tounge skinks. is that o.k. to do that?? just wondering

Take the risk. As long as they are fed well they probably wouldnt have a problem in the world. They may be trying to save money by trying to combine cages, then again most zoos arent about the animals, they are more about what and how many the exhibit will draw, therefore save money on the exhibits.
