Blue then blue again?

PAsnake Aug 27, 2004 10:42 AM

Kula went blue last week, eyes were clear when i checked on him/her monday morning now today eyes are blue again?

Anything to worry about? I haven't seen him/her rubbing around to get the shed going. I have been misting the tank down every morning to help ensure a complete shed.

any ideas or just want to yell at me for being a worry wart feel free to do so lol

thanks

Wayne

I don't recall ever seeing mine go blue twice but you might have just caught him right before he was ready to shed and the skin was loose.
I wouldn't worry too much. Just give him another day or so...if he hasn't already shed.

Maybe is ready i did see him do a little rubbing, but on the glass of the tank not on the hides or rock water bowl which are rougher.

Tonight was to be feeding night, but i think i am going to wait till he/she sheds. Monday feeding (day his eyes went clear) he ate but only half as much.

thanks again

I have 20 corns. I have classified them in general terms..albino, striped, etc. I have one that looks just like this foto...what is the correct snake type? Normal, Okeetee? Mine has a brown checked belly. Not black.

Kula, my snake, is a normal, the checks on the belly are black in the front of the body but nearly 1/2 faded black 1/2 orange in the middle. Now that he shed the black borders (really look more brown in person) are faded so i am confused, i was told hypos don't have the black checks, yet my snake is showing some kind of reduced black around the saddles at least.

This morning Kula is extremely blue you really can't see his normal eye color anymore. Maybe when hie eyes cleared before it was becuase of me misting the tank and he got alittle too wet? Or perhaps he stalled the shed when i fed him Monday (the day his eyes went clear)?

I mist less now and he is much duller and eyes more cloudy than they were last weekend almost 2x as much.

Thanks again

Kula is clear again lol hopefully he/she sheds this time.
Maybe the first time was a joke on me lol since everything else seems to be going so well after the regurg a few weeks ago.

3-5 days after eyes clear right?

thanks
