I have two argus x flavi's and both are about 10 months old and are aprox 28" I know that are still to small to get a 100% positive on the sex but from the looks of things I would have to guess that they are female, then again I a rookie as far as monitors go. I was almost certain that I had females after going to a reptile show where I saw a pair and my lizards had the same body type as the female while the male was very easy to tell apart. My real question is can both lizards be kept in the same enclosure? I have always had them separate because common sense told me it was the thing to do. I did put them in the same cage once for about 30 minutes and they seemed courious of eachother but would hiss when they got too close. The cage I would like to have them both in is 7'x3'x3', it has multipule hides, basking area, logs, rocks and soil. I have the feeling that it will get post telling me not to put them together and I am perfectly fine still having them separate but I just wanted to see if it was posible.
thanks
