Supervisors Look at Exotic Pets

ARMSTRONG TOWNSHIP - The Armstrong Township board of supervisors is considering an ordinance to regulate the ownership of exotic pets in the township.
Patricia George, township secretary, said the supervisors voted Tuesday to direct Thomas Bianco, solicitor, to check out exotic-pet ordinances in other municipalities for the supervisors to review.

George said the supervisors are interested in finding out how the ownership of exotic animals could be prohibited in the township. She said the supervisors also voted to pay bills Tuesday and conducted other routine business. - John Como
