Anyone using Fujifilm S7000 ?

DeanAlessandrini Aug 27, 2004 01:57 PM

I just invested in this camera...can go 6 -12 MP
has macro and supermacro.

I can't seem to get the supermacro to focus properly and create sharp images.

Those of you using...are you happy with it?
suggestions?

I invested a lot of money in this camera...I still have a lot to learn about it, but I really wanted it for the supermarco feature.

THANKS

I don’t own this camera, but I think it uses an interpolation algorithm to make extra pixels in order to get the super-high resolution images (12 megapix). If it is interpolating in macro and supermacro modes, the images will look less sharp. If this is not the problem, it might be that some areas of the photo are out of focus because of a shallow depth of field. Are there any sharp areas in the photo, or is the entire picture soft? If this is the problem, you might try closing down the aperture to get greater DOF. It would be helpful if you could post some sample photos.

Cheers,
WK
