Hello all, I have a pure Ruthveni at home. I've been reading lately that the Ruthveni is almost impossible to find. Is this true? If so, do we know how many actually exist? Thank you.

By hard to find, do you mean in captivity or in the wild? In captivity, especially in the pet trade, albino Ruthveni are very common. Albinos are far more common in the pet trade than normal Ruthveni. Normals are less common in the pet business, but are not so rare that they command really high prices.
Awesome, underrated mountain kings. I would be happy to own one.

Ruthveni are not that uncommon. Looking through the classifieds will turn up a few folks that have them. They can be trickier to breed compared to many kings because ruthveni are higher-elevation snakes that require ample cool down in Winter. That is why they aren't as common as some kings/milks.
Although many hybrid crosses have been made using ruthveni, it is far more common to find pure specimens. The crosses usually do not look like pure ruthveni at all, so just sight alone tells you alot. Ruthvens have a characteristic look and shape.

Yea I've noticed that. My Ruthveni tends to like the colder side of the tank. I will post pics of him very soon.
