KSUVANTO Aug 27, 2004 04:16 PM

Does anybody know if it would be safe to house a tomato frog and a red eyedtree frog together?

don't mix ever it is stressful to the animals, they will thank you for not doing it too

These frogs are not even from the same continent. Not that it would be okay to mix if they were from the same continent, or even the same area, but I would go ahead and say it's a big no no. Tomato frogs also secrete a white gooey liquid which I doubt would be good for another frog. Parasites and stress are other issues. As well, tomato frogs are terrestrial. Red eyes are arboreal. Stick to one species, or even one frog, per tank.
