Well, my eggs are infertile....

but i still have hope for hatchlings this year. My female is due to lay eggs on Sunday, but she looks almost ready right now, she laid early last time so i wouldnt be surprised if she did this time too. I think the problem with the last clutch is i was surprised when I found them and i might of accidentally turned them over. Or, they could've just been infertile becuase it was the females first clutch. Who knows, i will be more ready this time though!!

thats too bad, they probally were infertile anyhow. If you find the eggs quick I don't really think it matters to much to turn them, but to be on the safe side mark them as found. They looked so darn good though. . Well good luck on the next batch. Did you keep the peat moss?

I changed to perlite after a day. I still have the peat moss in the lay boxes though. I was gonna pick something else up, but i figured that i would just have to live with dirty eggs. I thought they looked good too, but when i checked on them this afternoon, they were all collapsed and smelled horrible. When I candled them, it glowed yellow, and so i concluded that they were infertile. If they were fertile i should have at least seen some veins by now, it had been 1 week and 4 days.

Thanks,
