aggressive females

I have two siblings in a cage together and last night they decided to have a tussle. They have lived peacfully together for about 9 months...and then I heard a scuffle.

No blood or injuries, but one of them (the smaller one) kept chasing theo other one and bite bite bite! the other would then retaliate and attack. They all seemd to be bites at the face area...

I seperated them - but they could still see one another. they even started lunging at each other through glass..so I put up a barrier and peace has come...

anybody ever see two girls just get pissy? and yes - they are both female....

I actually had that happen with 2 gargoyles (female) and one died from it. I didn't see the scuffle, but I saw the effects. It was a sad deal, and to this day, I don't know why it happened.
