Update on Beardie with no tail...

marcantony Aug 27, 2004 06:03 PM

The BD that I had hatch out with no tail seems to be doing fine. It is just about 2 weeks old, and it has eaten greens (loves fresh green beans!), carrots, 10 day old crickets, and even a couple of really, really small meal worms. I know about impaction with mealworms, and I fed them 1 at a time from tweezers, so please spare me the lectures! (LOL!). It has defecated. It sure seems active enough, the only thing that I would say differentiates it from it's clutchmates, is that it appears to not have as good a balance as they do, although it is not all that bad. I have attached a picture taken today so you can see how it is doing. Thanks to all who have contacted me because they have an interest in this anomaly. If anyone else has any input, I would love to hear from them. Thanks again.
