New Carpet and a couple questions...

herpin1579 Aug 27, 2004 07:46 PM

Hey everyone,

I just bought this carpet from a local shop. It is currently feeding on f/t mice. He was just labeled as a carpet and didnt give any ssp/locale info. Any guesses to what this guy is? Also, what kind of humidity do they require?

Thanks,
Mike

Looks like a Jungle Carpet Python (morelia spilota cheyni). Im not exactly sure what the humidity requirement is (around 30-40%?).

If it helps this is a pic of my setup (which has enough humidity apparently)

I would agree that that looks like a jungle type...but humidity should be more in the 50-60% range, and higher when in shed.

About that cage picture, what are the dimensions of that cage, and how big is it's inhabitant?
