Covering up glass.

Hetfield6j Aug 27, 2004 11:44 PM

Is covering up the glass sides of my 2 month old veilds enclosure with those paper "Design" sheets ok? It seems like his reflection might be bugging him abit. Anything negative about this i should know of?

You might try those translucent vinyl sheets for windows that let in light. The surface pattern of the design blocks the view, but they won't make the tank darker. You'll have to put them on the INSIDE of the glass or the reflection will still be there. The only concern might be the strong vinyl smell (fumes?) of the sheets once they are removed from the backing. If you can find ones that stick by static instead of adhesive it might be better.
