Triple het boa poll

miba8055 Aug 28, 2004 01:23 PM

Do you think a new morph will arise with the breedings of hypo het snow X hypo het snow (triple hets)? Will the hypo gene affect the way the snow looks? Will the anery gene affect the sunglow? I'm looking for your opinions before I decide if I want to make a purchase. Thanks.

Mike

breeding is the mystery of reproduction, you never know what will happen till you do it. Its like anything you take a chance in .

I will breed a male hypo het for albino to a snow this season, that will be interesting to see what is produced and what will become of those babies reproduction, a scramble egg of hets.

Nice triple het project you have going....

I think the outcome from your hypo het albino to snow will be:

hypos het snow (triple hets), sunglow het anery, albino het snow, dbl het snow.

Good luck with your project. Out of curiousity, who did you purchase these boas from?

Thanks.

I think triple hets are the greatest 'value' available in colombians right now... you can produce ALL the color morphs, plus who knows what out of one pair of boas !!!!
I was just at Frank Martins this morning... it took all the energy I had to not walk out with a pair of his orangasm triple hets.. those animals are smokin... if I was working with colombians, he would probably have the deed to my house by now.... lol

I have my female albino out on loan now, and will (hopefully) hook up with a friends ghost male. Should be some nice snakes if all goes well.

You can make a triple het by breeding a ghost to a albino or a snow to a hypo or a sunglow to a anery.

Triple hets are just that.Normal in apperance but het for albino, anery and hypo.

Theres only one way to produce a triple homo and know it when it is born,

You take a sunglow and breed it to a snow, all the babies would be albino dbl-het for hypo and anery (ghost).
You take one of these babies and breed it to a ghost, then the ghosts that are produced will be 100% het albino.
You breed two of them together and the snakes that are born albino ARE triple homo (showing all three traits at the same time).

brand new morph and it would replace all your albinos, anerys, hypos, ghosts, snows, sunglows and all your hets?
