Should you put holes in them or not? Any help would be greatly appreciated.I already made the hovabator taller so that the container has plenty of head room.I believe it`s a 12qt rubbermaid.
thanks

If you have any other specific questions, ask away. And good luck with what you'll be cooking in there!

I think I would use 3 or 4 small holes...not too large ....maybe less than a quarter of an inch...more like less than 1/8 even.......
.....the eggs need to breath.....?......right....and damp vermiculite with heat from above.....sounds like no holes would also make condensation gather upon container lid....then drip onto the eggs.......which would eventually kill the eggs.......
?.....
I do hundreds of corn eggs a year....plastic shoeboxes.....setting on the head level shelf above my sink.......they are at about 83 degrees plus or minus a few.......they have correct wetness....and 4 holes in the lids........about 1/8" to 3/16 " each hole........?......
.......good luck..........

............right?

I guess it doesn't really matter. I didn't use any holes, and the breeders I asked when I got started said they didn't use any holes, but it sounds like with holes works as well.
