Zia , turned BRILLIANT orange * Female C. Bicinctores

PHEve Aug 28, 2004 04:20 PM

Its been almost 2 months ago that Zia layed eggs, Unfortunitely they were not fertile.

And it was such a shame because her handsome mate had died.

This morning I looked at her and she was BRILLIANTLY colored orange, If only they had mated before I lost him, sad

But she looks spectacular, anyway! Shes such a pretty thing.

Me out ! He was a wc, from Will, a gift. He had sent me the pair.

Yuma had acclimated quite fast I thought. Someone here even insinuted he looked a bit obese But then while she was gravid the first time, he stopped eating.

At first I did not worry as he was shedding. But the days went by and there was no interest. He was losing weight quickly, so I took over the feeding.

Unlike many of my other wc's , Yuma refused to swallow after the first few days. And as quickly as it all started, he died.

I was bummed and shocked to say the least.
I want another male, but Not right yet too soon.

Thanks for asking !

Wow, she looks good. Hopefully she retained some viable swimmers.

Incredible, Eve. I especially like its thick, dark collars. Such contrast!
