HEY all i read the forums often and i love the vast amount of info, anyways i have just gotten my sav back from my mothers i have been living with my dad and she wasnt feeding him enough i know he is my responsiblity but my dad absolutly dreads herps so i havent been able to take care of him like he diserves long story short he hasd lost a little weight and i am wanting to bulk him up agian what prey can i give him that might have more fat in it i have been giving chicken peeps, ground turkey, mice , rats and salmon every once in a blue moon like maybe once a month
is there any thing out there im not feeding besides roaches and other insects

he has perfect temps humidity is probably a little high but im just waiting for the cypress to dry out more he just got a new cage from animal plastics co. it is 6'x28"x28" not quiet as big as id like but thats what the parents bought so im kinda stuck until i get new materials and tools temps are around 80 for the low 95 for the high and 120 at the hot spot surface temp. but he gets either one chick every 3 days a few mice a small rat or two rat fuzzies every 3-4 days let me know what you all think thanks in advance.
