General American Bullfrog Information??

LoneGreyWolf20 Aug 28, 2004 05:29 PM

I am just looking for general information on American Bullfrog care. Any websites you can point me towards would be great. I did a search, but it turned up mostly African Bullfrogs and I think one or 2 American Bullfrog sites. I like to get many views and put them together with common facts and opinions to get what I feel is the right information so to speak.

Don't really know of any sites. They are not too common as pets. They really need a ton of room. Large ones have the habit of jumping against the sides of the tank everytime you walk in the room and injuring their snout. They usually feed well, but they need a ton more room than most other frogs in the pet trade. I would catch and keep them for a few days in a 75 gallon tank when I was younger. 75 gallons definitely wasn't adequate, IMO.
