Very nice Vipers. They both appear to be in good shape. The one in the lower part of the photo has an interesting look to it's head. If you have the time, would you mind taking a photo of them soaking in a clear tub of water or right after being soaked? Viper's colors and intricate patterns really shine through when wet.

In regards to housing, the most important part is hydration. Vipers need a constant source of clean, shallow water, in which, they will soak for extended periods of time. They prefer temps on the cooler side; between 78 and 82 degrees year round, with a slow drop into the low 70's for cycling breeders in the winter season. Humidity should be kept between 50% to 80% and misting of cages 1 or 2 times a week is a good idea, but not necessary if all other criteria are met. Given that Vipers are in and out of their soaking pan in the evenings, I personally do not use any form of substrate that has shavings. It just makes for mucky water that has to be cleaned almost daily. I prefer papertowels for juveniles and newspaper for adults.

Hope this helps.
