What do you feed a Woodhouse's Toad?

artemis Aug 29, 2004 01:22 AM

I think I just found a Woodhouse's Toad in my backyard. What do I feed him?? (And any other information is wonderful as well!)

I've been searching online for about two hours with no helpful information. Also, is it even safe to keep him [the toad]? That would be good to know...

Oh, and it's a very small toad. About as long as your thumb, and a little under half of that would be its width.

Artemis, feed him small pieces of baby earthworms, pinhead crickets, and baby moths. He will grow to a big round chunk in no time!

There is another site just dedicated to toads and toad owners, check it out for more detailed info:

Good luck!
