Salamander Larvae

kungfu2811 Aug 29, 2004 01:44 AM

Hey all, im new to this board.
I have some questions that I hope you can answer.
I mainly keep lizards and snakes, but am also interested in salamanders and newts. Every year I collect some tree frog and bull frog eggs to hatch and raise, but I have never seen a salamander or a newt around here(sacramento area in calafornia). I would really like to raise some salamander or newt larvae, but dont know where to get any. Are there any species of them that are easy to breed? I have read that they are very difficult to breed.

Thanks,
Andrew
