Too much heat...

Jungle_Dweller Aug 29, 2004 01:40 PM

I know that JCPs need a gradient from about 78-80 on the cool side and around 90 on the warm side, but I have a problem. During the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons, our house stays at a constant 87 degrees. Soo... do I just not use a heat pad or what? Oh, and it's not like I can cool down the house because we never use the AC.

-Thanks, and happy herping!

Sounds like my house!...I'd say do without heat. Its too easy at that temp to have a dangerous spike. Just keep an eye on your thermometer and keep your heat pad on standby for the cool days.
