Will she take anything like mice instead of rats? If so feed her a mouse then follow it up with a F/T rat while she is swallowing the mouse.

I think right now my BP is too big to be fed a mouse, he's over 3 feet and when I hold him my middle finger and thumb doesn't touch. I'm not positive but I think if I put a mouse in there, it would be too small for him to strike at it, and if he did strike I would think he would crush it to all hell. But I guess right about now anything is worth a try, even though he won't voluntarily eat f/t.

it should have no problem with it. I end up with left over mice sometimes from my smaller snakes and I give them to my biggest snake which is over 5 lbs and above 5 feet(she normally eats large rats). I just call it a snack for her.

well, I have a warped view as three of my BPs are WC. But what came to mind for me is that it is heading into breeding season/winter early. But then too, mine only eat 4 months of the year.
Has your area temps gone up or down a lot? Maybe too hot or cold for the snake has kicked it off schedule.
