It was the HSUS that tried banning ALL reptile ownership 2-3 years ago. Are they trying to get funds together to spearhead another one of these agendas? It's outrageous that kingsnake would even let them run a banner on this site.

I thought it was hilarious, but I think anyone can advertise here if they have the money. Free enterprise I guess. Wait till Peta puts up a link to sign a petition to ban reptiles. LOL

I can think of a ton of companies they would NOT CONSIDER ALLOWING to advertise here.

Lets see a Porn Site, an Al- Queda terrorist site. I can think of TONS of stuff they would NOT allow to advertise on this site.

I FOR ONE FIND THIS UNNACPTABLE. I will have to voice my concerns to Jeff and Co next mo when I make my descision to pay or not pay for my next years advertiseing.

Common business scence tells me that I HAVE to advertise here. And I do love this site, and this forum in particular. But maybe Im overreacting here, but I THINK THIS IS BS. To accept money from theese SOB'S is a sign of greed and disrespect for the herp community as a whole.

Its not bad enough that crooks are often allowed to advertise to the public with the shrowd of legitimacy provided by a "KINGSNAKE ACCOUNT". Where does the buck stop?

WOW, very well put, I do agree with you the first two you listed they would not allow, the others you are probably right, but I am not sure. As far as people being protected here, that I feel is the biggest negative to this great site, I would be 100% for some kind of a feedback forum for people who sell on this site(including myself). Every time I see ads from a certain company on here it makes my blood boil.The fact that you can sell animals in your dead fathers name and still have an account here and nobody can say a word about it just blows me away. i have to agree with you .. the humane society is outta control everywhere in the USA !! i mean , have you guys watched animal cops and animal precinct and all those shows ?? very healthy animals are taken away from people at times just cause its snowing and a husky or a chow chow is left outside !! i mean , c'mon dude.. arent those dogs made for the cold weather anyways ?? i know this is irrelevant to reptiles but im just trying to prove a point on how all these organizations are trying their hardest to find a way to inflict more fines and make more money somehow off of every pet owner .. everytime i watch these shows all i do is laugh and get upset at how gullible and ignorant most of the people who give in are to begin with.. dont let them pass these idiotic laws in your city.. once you allow them to pass one law, its practically over and opens the doors for them to pass even more laws in the future.
