Come on lets see some pictures of those locality..I want to purchase a bali yellow head or a sulawesi retic..I waiting to get one from the NARBC..i cant wait only a few months...bring on the pics..

No pics but I do love localities. My fav. has to be the makasars. In looks thought it would be somethign liek a bali.

Are Sulawesis and the makasars the same? I am not eduacted much at all on the retic locales so bear with me. Reason why I chose the makasars was because they get BIG from what I have read. I have only seen one or 2 pics of the makasars. I do like the balis .

I'm with mr. justin on this one..i'm not sure of there the same either..but sulawesi's are most def very awsome..i love there color..i have always wanted a bali..i'm prolly gunna pick up a nice yellow head and a bali from him....I LOVE RETICS

If I'm not mistaken, Sulawesi has a city or port within it called Makasar, so Suls and Maks, are pretty much the same thing.
Oh, and I do not love them because they become huge, I love them because of their incredible pattern, colors, and eyes, not to mention their over all apperance. IMO, you shouldn't like a retic just because it gets huge, and if you look at some tigers, they have close to the same potential as of Suls. The baldogo's original strain of Tiger has some huge males at over 21ft so I can see the same potential of a large female tiger and a large Sula.

I like the normal retics pattern better than most of the other things. In my opinon the tigers and super tigers are not realy that spectacular looking to me. I do not know what it is. I mean I still like them but I like normals more. I do like them because they are pretty much the biggest. I mean I do not think any retics should be an average persons snake and I am responsible and all with them and hope to one day get one of the huge localities because of their potential sizes. What exactly is wrong with someone likeing a snake because it is bigger. I can understand what you mean if someone were irresponsible with a 20' snake. Shoot it makes me mad when someoen does stupid crap to show of with any animal.

I was not trying to say you were irresponsible or anything like that. I just get mad when some people can't even tell apart a Sul from a main lander and just buy it because it's gonna be huge. lol I wasn't implying anything negative on you. Also, regular mainland retics get huge, infact the Bronx Zoo had the Largest retic in captivity, she was over 27ft and was a main lander.

Oh, I did not think you were sayign I were irresponsible. You can call me what you want. I can prove or disprove. I was just giving out my opinion on escatly what you said on how "fools" (I love that word) go out and buy them because they are big and think they are "cool". I took no offense on enything you said and was just simply stating that I am not iresponsible. Woops.. I'm rambling.lol. I have problems with rambling that you all will have to excuse. there I go again!!

I got to say I LOVE BIG Snakes as well. That is why I Power feed all of my Retics, Rocks and Burms As many Local Dogs, Cats, and Small Children I can find. I want them to become Huge Out of control Man eaters so we can get rid of the human race and give the earth back to the Reptiles.

Hey Naja, dinosaurs came onto the scene in the Paleozoic Era which was approximately 500 million years ago. But before the dino's the earth actually belonged to sea creatures, the first being some kind of jelly fish.
Why don't you buy some Jelly Fish and power feed them, so that they can once again rule the earth?

Why would I start all over again. The earth didnt get cool untill the Reptiles come about. Now we can start the reptiles out as B.A. Man eaters so when the human race tries to come in and mess up things again they will be taken care of before they get out of hand >

I think the natural beauty of retics is unrivaled. I have 1.1 unrelated cbb Bali yelowheads. They are definiely two of the coolest snakes I've ever seen. I'd love to have an albino one day, but I wouldn't trade one of my bali's for one. I llok forward to maybe a pair of Jampeas next.
