pine shavings ?? i was thinking of using this but wanted to hear the pros and cons to it .. any advice ? thanxs in advance koky

I think most herpers will agree pine shavings are a no no. First are the aromatic oils that can cause respiratory problems. Second is residual pitch that may get on your snake's skin. Much better to use aspen shavings that have no aromatic oils.
