Can I feed monitors and tegu rats I catch around my house? Should I freeze them first? Thanks! Brooks

According to my vet it can take up to 6months at like -20 to kill all the nasties on them. Is it worth it? Raise some, much more meat on their bones, you know what went into them and you know you will have enough.
