The few times I've sold snakes at the White Plains show, a sale was refused because of the following:
Mother with kids (old enough to know ) buying snakes and then asking if corns, getulus, and milks can be housed together. Or if a bunch of babies (same species) can be housed together.
First time snake owners carrying a plastic container, I wouldn't house cockroaches in, buying a baby snake that wouldn't last 3 days in said container.
And finally folks buying a snake without knowledge of where to get the food (mice, etc.) and expecting me to supply (sell) them their mice as needed. This is especially true when I used to sell, occasionally, out of my home, which I don't anymore.
I have zero patience with people too lazy to do their homework before they buy, especially now, with everything available on the internet or public library.
Hopefully every animal I sell will be treated well and cared for.
