Hello,
I'm trying to find information in the AZ green ratsnakes. Are they protected? I know they're rare and were suppose to be up for review, anybody knows their status?
thanks
Jean

Jean. AZ green rats are protected already, in that residents have a limit and also cannot sell them. People who want a ban on green rats will say they are rare, but in reality they are fairly common in many mountain ranges in se. AZ. They are not rare, but if they get banned, I'm sure the price will go up on them. Captive bred is the way to go anyway. Wild caughts have a lot of parasites and don't do very well in captivity. Good luck. TC.
