Does a broadhead skink need uvb light?

I am experienced with several types of american desert lizards and have just aquired a juvinile E. laciteps for my son and have set it up in a nice woodland vivarium.

Eventhough they may burrow, just have a UVB light to play it save. I had one on my golden skinks terrarium and they would bask and act naturally.
