mites and such

is there any signs i should look for to see if my monitors has a desiese or ticks and mites??

Stuff works good, ticks, I used to pull them off right away. Mites are a bad sign of husbandry, I remember helping a friend who recieved many animals from a now FLA based reptile business. Of course most of those animals had many many other health problems, to say the least.
ProExotics has a FAQ on using BT for mite treatments, good info.
