Question about sense of smell

galvatronix Aug 30, 2004 02:54 PM

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and would appreciate any help.

I have an eight year old leapard gecko that I raised from a baby. He has always been completly tame and docile (he will come to me when I call him).

My problem is I just got my first bearded dragon at the Tucson Reptile Show (which rocked by the way). Ever sense, my gecko is very mad. He won't let me handle him and even took a nip at me. I tried washing my hands and that seemed to help, but he is still acting agitated.

Is there anyting I can do? The dragon is in a completly different room as it is.

Thanks

here's something you can try, not sure if it'll work

get some apple cider vinager. it naturally balances the ph in your skin (perfect for if you have bad BO too) anyways, try rubbing some on your hands, leaving it on for a few minutes and then wash your hands. tell me if that works
