Some Bairdi shots as hatchlings and now...they don't sit still, do they?

Here's a couple shots from when I got them in 2000. Cute little buggers. :D

Here's just a peek of the female as an adult. LOL I just thought it was a cute shot...

See, now this goes back to an observation I had made earlier.
It seems that it is fairly common for the females to be a little darker with a little more bronze while the males tend to be a little lighter with more yellow.
Am I the only one that sees this trend?

I always love those baby and adult comparison pics. Looks like they turned out real nice. Didn't they produce for you this year?

No, I didn't brumate them this year. I was kind of hoping they'd go anyway (like my corns) but they never cooperated. I'll brumate them this winter and hopefully have some little Bairdi next year.
