Hey Terry, remember my "little" black rat snake from here in KY?? Well I havent posted any pics of him since last Dec, and figured you would like to see him. He is 3 years old this month and right at 66"!!!! Still growing and still a big baby!!

He has turned into a nice sized specimen and its just amazing to see how big he is getting, especially when I let him crawl on the bed!!!!

The pic is not the best in the world and Ill try to get a cleaner shot in the sun light this weak. My wife took this one just a few minutes ago, and its not as good as I would like, if I could only get her to hold the snake while I shoot the pics....LOL

I remember your first post having just collected him. I also remember the cage set up pics you posted. He's looking real good. I remember you putting in the branch for him to climb, but it also let him escape that time. LOL. Didn't your wife find him in the hamper in the bathroom? You have quite the list of snakes now I notice. When did you pick up that pair of MO. locale black rat snakes?

Here's a pic of one of my brindle black rat snakes.

LOL I had forgotten about him getting out!! Yes the wife found him, but it wasnt in the clothes hamper. We were getting ready to go to bed and she had to use the bathroom. Right across from the toilet is a small footstool and there was a towel folded up on top of it, and that is where he had decided to curl up. Right on top of the towel, and it scared the bejesus out of my wife!!! LOL

I picked up the black rats this last spring, along with the Eastern yellowbellied racer. Send me an email and I will share the story with you, pretty wild!

Chat at ya later.

Very nice Brian. I remember your photos of when he was much smaller. Post some pics of your Everglades & yellow Rat when you get a chance also. I'm sure there also getting up there in size. Plus, you can't forget that super looking Kentucky corn you have. Take care,

Steve
