Play Sand

hi just built my new beardies a 4 foot long cage and was wondering how to clean out the play sand should i wash it? if so what would be the easiest method?

You don't need to wash it. Just don't dump it in from a great height. (sand storm)

I use a window screen and sift the sand. Gets rid or any of the larger pebbles as well as any sharp pieces or rock. Take s a bit of extra time, but when it is done - the sand feels "pure".

I dont wash it though.
