Whites tree frog help

I am new to the world of WTFs and am the proud new mom of a 9 week old little captive bred Australian green.Lately he has been curled up on the ground behind his waterfall. Is this normal? He seem to be healthy, he has almost grown a centimeter in 2 weeks and has a clear vent area, so he seems healthy. Also, do they deficate on the foliage or on the ground? I will include a picture soon.

I also forgot to ask what live plants are sutable for a WTF? I am looking for a tall or climbing plant, but even a bushy one would work.

Ok, yes its ok for WTF to hide dureing the day as they are nocturnal(He probaibly feels most secure and moistened behind your waterfall). Plants can consist of almost any tropical with wide enough stems to suppost his weight. (personailly I use Pothos wrapped around branches). Also they spread their fecal matter wherever they see fit , being Plants, Substrate or glass walls. Hope this helps, gl

Another great plant to use is what's called a snake plant...the leaves are very long and sturdy, perfect for young and adult treefrogs that tend to be heavier such as the WTF. My frogs love climbing on them, and also like to sit on them during the day to hide and get heat. They are also fairly inexpensive and you can find them at Wal-Mart in the live plant section most of the time for $10.00 or so for a huge pot of them. I'll be posting a picture of my cage setup a little later if you'd like to take a look and see what they look like.
