I posted last week about interducing my High pink or pastel like male BCI in with my abberant female! An I got a few concerns about it being a bit early for breeding!Well the next day, their was a mess so I disturbed them to clean the encloser an put them back an he did not show her one bit of interest after that!I took him away an turned the lights back on an fed them an figured well I listen to what I have learned this week,I still have a few months to go!Well today he messed in his tank an I put him in with Big Mamma!Just long enough to clean his tank an well when I was done I turned around to get him out an they were going at it!I actually witnessed copulation she isnt jerking from him any more or anything just steady courting an copulation!Question is,Since I was told it wasnt time last week,Should I leave them alone?Or seperate them! Thanks for any an all opinion's!Thanks Eric![Hypoboa]

congrats. I would just leave them in there together and make some boas, you may want to bring temps down slightly, but unless you taught them how to use a calender they do not know it is out of season. Good luck. Craig Kade

Hey Eric, it sounds like the exact same senario I have right now. I got my male Salmon in with...get this...Big Momma, for the 3rd time now and have also witnessed copulation,..although I am curious if that meens his sperm is good and doing the job or what? I know how you feel, I know there are those out there who can tell us what to do next, but maybe we just have to figure this out. My big Momma, lays on my male after the next day, I had taken him out when that happened...but this time I am going to leave him in longer. I bred JCP's before and they just kept going at it for a month....this seems different, like stop and maybe ..then look out..then stop again. What I need now, is some of the facts info that is out there, like what should my temps be at now, and should I just let them breed or what? Hope you get her bred...Andy Federico
