shedding

pacman101 Aug 31, 2004 10:30 PM

My uro started shedding like a week ago and ever since he has been VERY GROGGY he just lies around with his eyes closed. He still eats his food but not as much as usual and he doesn't appear to be losing weight. When I try to pick him up he still bolts. My question is it normal to be this lethargic for a uro?

thanks for help

yes it is very normal. have you tried giving him a warm soak to help along the shed? if he still acts this way when the shed is over then there may be something wrong but its most likely the sheeding.

yeah, it sounds like the shedding. right now helga is going through it and she is just mean to me. well not really but she is not her loving self. she kind of reminds me of a teenager right now. i get tail swats alot when i pick her up to give her her medicine.
think about it, have you ever been really sunburnt and peeling all over? aren't you really uncomfortable and irritable?
