does anyone work with locale specific silver retics? The only info I can find is at nerd. Anyone else?

As far as i am aware silver retics aren't locale specific. They are "made" through line breeding. By this i mean that when a particularily silver individual is born it is kept and bred to another similar one. Offspring from those are then chosen for there colours and bred and so on and so on.

really? I thought that the silver retics were like yellowheads. I know that they are bred for a better silver color, but I thought the silvers were naturally occuring from certain areas.

The vast majority of "locality specific" retics are capable and frequently do produce "silver" babies. I have added a pic of an example of this. The pic is of my male javanese, he is used in my own "silver" project, the "cleaner" the female the better.

That is a gorgeous snake and looks very similar to my java pair. Mine are still juvys, so its nice to see what they could look like in a few months.

Mine also seem to have a fair amount of silver.
