I got my leo around July 24,'04.He came from petco and was around 3 inches long,I didn't have a scale then but I do now.I weighed him on aug 21 and he was 20 grams,weighed again on aug 29 and he was 25 grams.Is this a good growth rate? Also my daughters leo who we got the end of may '04 at petco too,she was older,had been at the store for 2 months.was 40 grams aug 21 and 50 grams aug 29.Both eat well but should the baby be gaing weight faster?He eats 10-15 medium mealies every night and sometimes a few crix too.

Well we have gotten alot of our 24 leos at petco and we haven't had any problems with them, the growth sounds pretty good to me. Some gain faster than others. One of our females that we got from petco was 5 grams as of 6/24/04 and last night she was up to 20 grams. Another female was 20 grams on 6/24 and last night up to 40grams (she was bought from tremper, she is also a giant) and the male that we bought from tremper also a giant was 25 grams on 6/10 and 50 grams last night. Just thought I'd share some of our growth rates. What morphs do you have?

my daughters leo is a normal and mine is a aberrent reduced pattern tangering possibly carrot tail cross as he has an AWSOME orange tail.I hope to get some nice pictures soon to post.
