Pics of disorders, illness, disease, and accidents

JDouglas Aug 31, 2004 11:11 PM

Many people in this forum have asked to see different pics of illness and disease in reptiles. I was lucky enough to witness a presentation by Tom Weidner of Habitat Systems that discussed illness of reptiles. I managed to get a few pictures to illustrate and educate others on what these things look like. Maybe we can all learn from others mistakes & educate ourselves on how to avoid this with our own animals...

Warning - the pictures are very graphic

It was taken to the vet and no cause was found. They suspected some type of infection and antibiotics were given. It subsided but was a recurrent problem and would come and go.
