Do corn snakes bite?

caliherper Sep 01, 2004 12:44 AM

I'm just curious to know if anyone has been bitten by a corn snake? The one I have seems really docile...but I heard thay have teeth that curve backwards. Is this true?

I have been bitten by corns, it's like getting many little paper cuts at the same time. haha. Not a pleasant feeling, but I'm sure it's nothing compared to what a bite from a larger snake would feel like!

yeah....and their teeth do curve backwards so if you do get bitten dont just rip your hand out...you could take a few teeth with you which could really hurt your snake..and im sure it would hurt you as well lol. I got bit by one of my month old bairdi's and couldnt even feel it they were so small, lol.
