Rock wall question

slw33 Sep 01, 2004 04:56 AM

What are folks using to make rock walls? Styrofoam (?spelling) and grout? Something else? I sort of inherited a snake tank, that's huge. After cleaning, sterilizing and getting it to fit into the room, its still about seven and half feet long, by about three feet, by two feet high. Lot of space. I'd like to put in a rock wall, but was wondering what people are finding works best.

Thanks in advance

Yes, POLYSTYRENE from LOWES and a craft store...Spray insillation to fill in cracks and grooves, a hobby knife to cut the "RUGGED" looks of rocks, any type of sanded grout using 3 light layers...then use an acrylic to seal it..one that is non-toxic to animals....
