New Snake

I traded my Halloween Phase Tree Boa for a baby High Yellow Jungle Carpet Python today. I guess I realized, the more I get hooked on these snakes, that I prefer the snakes that are ok with being handled. That Tree Boa was a nasty little sucker! The guy had a female baby yellow anaconda and he tried talking me into taking that to breed later on - but it seems most think I might've made a mistake getting the first yellow because I am new to snakes. Do you guys think I should take the female baby yellow instead of the Jungle Python? I really am hoping for your expert opinions.

its all about what you love and what you want to take care of. i have seen carpets that can nasty as well but many are kitten calm. they have some nice long teeth too like your amazon. get what you love and learn as much as you can. bp's can be hard but nobody says they are advanced.

i think you made a good choice going with a carpet then another conda. i have worked in many pet stores good ones and bad ones. i tell every one the same thing after they get there first snake "dont get another snake for atleast a year" i dont recamend anyone getting a conda they are large needy some times aggressive snakes. since you are new to snakes getting another conda is not the best idea. also i would not buy from a petstore there just in it for the money.
