You can try CVexotics. I bought 50 from them in feb. and now have a decent sized colony (300-500). The only problem I had was that few of the ones I got were adults so it was about 2-3 months before the roaches achieved sexual maturity. It was another 2-3 monts before they actually started reproducing. There are places that offer adult roaches only and charge a higher price but you get the colony established quicker. So it really depends on your needs and expectations.

www.topline-roaches.com/

thanks for the help, I always like to use vendors that are reffered to me as it gives me confidence in whom I buy from as well as doing business with the good reputable vendors out there.

From the topline website, anyone ever here of this???? Please let me know. Thank you

"FLORIDA Topline can not ship hissers to Florida. It is our understanding that it is illegal to do so. All other Topline products *can* be shipped to Florida."

Yes they are. I was going to see what I had since my colony is bigger than I need, but if you are in Florida....
Superworms (Z. Mario) are also out of the question. These are just the few I know. I think the problem is if hissers get loose, they will take hold in Floridas climate.

I live in Florida, and Superworms are available everywhere here, so they are not illegal. Hissers, on the other hand, I have never seen. Besides, if you would see our 'palmetto bugs,' You'd stop thinking about hissers. Those suckers are HUGE! And they fly!

You can find them easily if you know where and who to look for. Superworms aren't illegal and can be found almost anywhere.

I stand corrected. What i had read stated that they were being regulated. However, since they were already established, they are legal and require no permit. Here's a link to the article.

Funny you mention palmento bugs, because I was thinking that would be a good alt. to hissers. Size-wise pretty close if I remember them correctly (it's been sometime since I have seen them). Do you know what species they are exactly?

I've ordered dry goods from topline, but
the price on roaches is better at Califonia
Silkworms.
