what is this...

hey everyone

see may situation, i turn my gecko over so that could see her belly, but when i look i saw that the inside looked kind of like a blackish color. is it suppose to be that color or not? does this mean i need to purchase a undertank heater? please help me out asap if you can.

I second the "need for a pic". But I dont think your problem is lack of belly heat (...there are NO UTH's in the desert and it IS possible to provide belly heat without them! however, I still recomend using them!) but could be something more serious like impaction, or constipation. dose her belly feel hard? where abouts is the darkness? all over, or just in one spot? it could just be her liver or other naturally dark organ showing through her light skin. either way, if you suspect something is wrong, take her to a vet! better safe than sorry!
