Luthien Died

maneatingorchid Sep 01, 2004 10:29 PM

We have no idea why. Yesterday she just started hanging out in the bottom of cage, and today she died. She was freshly dead when we found her, and had been bleeding anally. She had a battle with parasites and mouth rot, so maybe she had left over parasites or the infection spread. Whatever. She never would've lived as long as she did or been as loved as she was if we wouldn't have been there. We buried her in the backyard by the forest.

I am so sorry to hear that. It is so tough when they are so sick. I am sure you gave her much comfort while she was with you.
