i think my Leopard gecko is stressed. I dont know what it is, I feed her about 8 mealworms every other day, I keep a light on all day, I keep water in her bowl and keep her moss wet. I also keep calcium in there. Yet, when I pick her up, she tries to bite me, and a minute ago, when I walked in there, she ran away as fast as she could, and hid in her rocks. What do you think is wrong?

How would you feel if an animal 1000 times bigger than you tried to grab you in the middle of the night? Stressed! You just have to give your leo time to get used to you.

Leopard geckoes & most other geckoes are nocturnal. Leaving a light on all the time is a major stressor.

Ok, LEt me clarify 2 things. I leave the light on all DAY and turn it off at night. Also, I've owned this gecko for 9 months.

Sorry, for not clarifying this earlier.

Sorry, I assumed that the light was left on 24/7. I agree with Meretseger that the LG perceives anything bigger than her & moving in its direction may be a predator. I have a female Leopard gecko, too that acts the same way when I enter my reptile room; however, I seldom pick her up.
