Quick question...

IAHerper Sep 01, 2004 11:46 PM

I know this has probably been covered here in the past but I'm just too lazy to search and beings you all are soooo nice I figured you would help...anyway..How long do you let your Bloods go without "going" before you get worried and help out by massageing*sp* out a stone you can feel?

Thanx
Terry

I personally have never had a problem with a blood. Mine usaully just do it in their water dish which is always large enough to soak or even in their spagnum hide after I refresh it. I guess it is better then when yo first get a baby and they just crap all over you. Anyways If you have a concern just try soaking in some luke warm water before you try the massage method

But hey what do I know I can't get my 3 year old to use the potty

A herper,I wouldn't really worry about it too much.Blood pythons are know to defecate less often than most boids. My bloods always hold large fecal stones until their next bowel movement. It use to drive me nuts,so bad that I took him to the vet and paid 80.00 for a snake enima. Now I look back on it,It was a waste of money. If you can't stand it, try soaking her in a WARM bath not too hot.GOOD LUCK.
