Hey Gregg more about the abberent Sonorans

Jason Nelson Sep 01, 2004 11:56 PM

I noticed every once in a while some small abberences on some of the Triple Hets I produced in the past .

I dont know if this odd pattern is coming from the Blizzard male or the 11 year old captive WC female .
I traded Del a apair of the Triple hets last year . I offered him a female with a 2inch long abberencie last year . Del didn't want that one! any ways , now thinking back I didn't think that that abberencie was a big deal . But after looking at your pics those little abberent mark look a little simular on a much smaller scale .

We have a Sonoran that is het for albino that has aberrancy on roughly the first 4 inches of its neck/body; it has no other morphs in its genetic background. I don't have a pic of it handy, but I can try to get one over the weekend.

I saw that you had a double albino (het for san diego) gopher??Is that a mis print?I don't get how something is het for san diego gopher?

You also have a non-hypo stillwater bull?Is that a female bull that was just caught in stillwater ok.?If it is I would be interested in a breeding loan maybe with you?

I emailed you, but in case it doesn't work:

The SD is double het in the sense that it is het for two different strains of albino - Applegate and "purple blotch".

The bull is a descendant of one of the siblings of the original Stillwater hypo.
