Venezuela boa looks like anery...

RioBravoReptiles Sep 02, 2004 08:13 AM

.. sort of. It's tough to photograph him.. sometimes he appears to be almost B&W, at others he has this nut-color thing going on.

This guy is about 38" and appears to be mature, it's an import and I have no idea of his age.. he eats medium mice (that's the lump in him now. I have a couple of females with the looks of Patrick's Paraguanera boas, also imports. It is interesting that this guy has the coloration more like the neat neonates he is showing us..

Gus, next time put some colored object beside the animal, looks like a 30 year old print, LOL.

My above post was not meant to criticize neither Gus's animal nor his photographic skills nor his camera, it was purely meant to be humorous!!!! Black and white animals are extremely difficult to photograph, I've learned it just now with my new offspring and will put a colored object or background in the pic as a reference.

Now thats funny..
Everyone has been getting all touchy lately =)
maybe we should put disclaimers for out signatures just so people know we are not trying to offend anyone...

Gus, that does it! You are now an official morpher. That's three in as many days. I just wish I had access to the animals you do. They're stunning.

It looked totally anery to me. Are you going to try and find out if its genetic?

What ever it is, its beautiful and I am jealous.

beautiful animal!!! I would also like to see it next to some color (not critisizing, but contrast would be incredible)

Id like to reserve a female from that ones first litter right now.
